Eastglint LLC (“Eastglint,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an independent AI company that researches, designs, and builds its own products. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
It applies to our website at eastglint.com and to the AI products, apps, and services we build and operate (together, the “Services”). Some products may include an additional privacy notice. Where they do, that notice applies together with this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you create an account, use the Services, or contact us, we may collect:
- Account details, such as your name, email address, and password or sign-in credentials.
- Content you submit to our products, such as prompts, questions, messages, files, and images (“Inputs”), and the content our AI features generate in response (“Outputs”).
- Messages you send us, such as emails and support requests.
- Payment and billing details for paid plans. Card details are collected and processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we and our service providers may collect technical and usage information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages and features used, and the date and time of your activity. Our products may use cookies and similar technologies that are needed to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and keep the Services secure, and may use analytics to understand how the Services are used.
Information from others. If you choose to sign in with a third-party account, such as Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information from that provider, such as your name and email address. Our payment providers tell us whether a payment succeeded.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including processing your Inputs to generate Outputs.
- To create and manage your account and process payments.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
- To keep the Services safe and secure, and to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms.
- To understand how the Services are used, fix problems, and improve and develop our products.
- To send you service messages, such as security alerts and account notices, and, where permitted, product news. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
- To comply with the law and enforce our terms.
AI features and your content
Our products use AI models to process your Inputs and generate Outputs. Some of these models are provided by third-party AI providers, which process your content on our behalf to deliver the Services and are contractually restricted in how they may use it.
We do not sell your Inputs or Outputs. We do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train AI models that are made available to anyone else without your permission. We may review content when needed to provide support, investigate misuse, keep the Services safe, or comply with the law.
AI-generated Outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information, such as health or financial details, unless a product is designed for it.
How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers that help us run the Services, such as hosting and cloud infrastructure, AI model providers, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and customer support. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Eastglint, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. After that, we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, unless we must keep it by law.
How we protect information
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Eastglint is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, for transfers of personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can update much of your account information in the product itself, or contact us at hello@eastglint.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the rights described above, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under these laws.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Services may link to websites and services operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and if the changes are significant we will give you notice, such as by email or in the product.
